Red Wines

  • Bergamais

    This refreshing, fruity ‘nouveau style’ wine shows the bright cherry flavours and aromas of the Gamay grape. Typically consumed young and served slightly chilled. It can be enjoyed on any occasion.

  • Cabernet Sauvignon

    Deep ruby, with black currant and cedar on the nose.

  • Costal Red

    A smoothly-balanced, aromatic red wine with plenty of cherry notes and a rounded, elegant mouth-feel. Perfect for entertaining

  • Diablo Rojo

    Dark purple in colour with a nose of blackberry jam melded with creamy vanilla aromas and a touch of tobacco. The finish is long and fruit-filled, with the perfect amount of toasty oak. Off dry, this wine is perfect for enjoying right away, delicious with robust foods and excellent all on its own.

  • Merlot

    Deep in colour, with black cherry and currant-berry aromas, the lush fruit of this wine meets soft appealing tannins and a perfect kiss of oak. Perfect with lamb, red meats and tomato sauce dishes.

  • Mezza Luna Red

    Rich and flavourful, this purposeful blend marries intense aromas and complex flavours bursting of cherry and raspberry. The rich dark colour hints at the layered oak in the finish. Delightfully complex, Mezza Luna is a powerful and lively red wine to serve with hearty meals.

  • Pinot Noir

    Richly complex with fruity as well as spicy characteristics, the strawberry-blackberry nose leads to a velvety full finish. Ageing uncovers further complexity.

  • Sangiovese

    Firm, dry red wine style made famous by Tuscany. Tannic and robust, this well-structured wine is ripe with flavours of berries and spice. Superb with veal or spicy pasta.

  • Shiraz

    Boasts a concentrated blend of plum and blackberry fruit, with spice and chocolate in a firm structure that leads to a tannic, fruity finish and hints of smoky oak. This wine is a mouth-filling, dark and delicious treat.

  • Valroza (Valpolicella)

    Ruby red, this classical Italian style wine features rich, spicy berry aromas in a very dry wine with a medium body, perfect with Italian cuisine.

  • Vieux Chateau du Roi

    Robust, rounded and smooth, the bouquet of berries and flavours of ripe plum are beautifully integrated into an elegantly structured finish with hints of oak that will reward ageing.

  • Chamblais

    Blended from Chenin Blanc and Colombard grapes, this juice produces a crisp, semi-dry wine, with a clean, refreshing aftertaste. May be enjoyed immediately after bottling.

  • Chardonnay

    Powerfully structured, this wine shows a crisp, minerally character and a refreshing floral aroma well-balanced by toasty smoke and vanilla notes, and a long complex finish that emerges with ageing.

  • Gewurztraminer

    A distinctive grape varietal with an unmistakable lychee/floral bouquet and zesty citrus flavours that lead to a mouth-filling finish. Excellent with spicy foods or desserts.

  • Liebfraumilch

    This blend epitomizes the classic white wine style that Germany is renowned for, showcasing the Riesling grape with a delicately fruity bouquet and a lushly off-dry finish.

  • Mezza Luna White

    Like its Selection counterpart Luna Bianca, Mezza Luna (‘Half Moon’) is Vintners Reserve’s ‘great white’ full, round and flavourful, with big fruit flavours and aromas. The oak provides a subtle yet noticeable balance to the fruit intensity. Big, lush and golden, it’s excellent to sip on its own.

  • Piesporter

    Transported from Germany’s Mosel wine region, this wine is characterized by vivid fruitiness and lively acidity balanced perfectly by floral aromas and a perfect amount of residual sweetness on the finish.

  • Pinot Blanc

    Medium-bodied with lightly fruity aroma, soft flavours and a velvety mouth-feel. Refreshing both as a sipping wine, and as a match with cream sauce dishes, light cheeses and delicate meats.

    Refreshing and light-bodied, this wine shows green apple, pear and honeydew, drinking well while still young. Great with lighter foods, peppered white fish, and creamy cheeses.

    The intense fruitiness of this beguiling wine suggests rich sweetness, but it shows a surprisingly dry and aromatic finish. A delicate yellow colour, tinged with the variety’s typical ‘green-gold’ hue, it bursts out of the glass with apricot, peach and spice aromas.
